Introduction
Our work begins from the consideration done during the introduction to the meeting; it says: “The description and interpretation of the events is presented with one preamble: there isn’t a possibility of options. And this is one of the most sophisticated forms of violence”.
The importance and the urgency of this issue press us into launching at the Regional the intention of forming this Secretariate.
It is necessary that others join the secretariate.
Regarding our work about the humanist position, the denunciation of conflicts and proposals of solution we can outline the following points:
1. The monopoly and the manipulation of information and the images for the humanization of information are outlined in the Spanish Orange Book and we’ll refer to it. Starting from these points we’ll need to find forms of implementing it and demonstrative actions.
2. Currently there are many people and organizations that take care of alternative information and contra-information (there are alternatives radios, TV’s, newspapers, web groups, artists intellectuals and professors placing them selves outside the logic of the system). Our role will be to offer a broader ideological context, within the European Regional, to which they will be able to contribute with their interesting work.
3. The speed of technology novelties in the information field is, by definition, not controllable and unstoppable. This phenomenon, more than other factors, will play in our favor.
4. Recent studies have observed a growing phenomenon were, everyday more people, turn off their TV and do something else. This phenomenon, of which the main media do not talk about, might produce un-hoped consequences regarding the stability of the economical system based on advertising income.
5. We work with the intuition that the fatter this orwellian "Big Brother" gets, the closer his end approachess.
On this topic we propose the formation of 3 groups:
STUDY GROUP (Points 1, 3, 4)
-Deep Study and expansion of the Orange Book
-Study of the possible implementation of the proposals and demonstration effects
-Analysis and study of the relation between the technologies linked to the media and the advertising-economical apparatus
RELATION GROUP (Point 2)
-Research, analysis and mapping of the contra-information reality existing in Europe (Radio, televisions, newspapers, artists, professors etc…)
-Relation with these interesting realities proposing collaboration and common campaigns.
CREATIVE GROUP (Point 5)
-Realization of Slogans, drawings, flyers, logos, jokes, videos, animations etc… With a ridiculous and provocative tone for diffusion on topics related to the Big Brother.
