WHAT WE WANT
" What defines a nation is the mutual recognition that establish between them the persons who identify with similar values and who aspire to a common future and it has nothing to see with the race, nor with the language, nor with the history " …
Many history, a long prehistory, we have crossed since we raise the look from the soil of the subsistence until today.
The same Europe that today we live is the result of the crossing and recognition of many peoples and cultures. The science, the art, the social and political advances were done by the incorporation of the most progressive elements of the different cultures that came together in Europe.
Today, when the human being has travelled to the space and has seen the earth as " the house of the humanity ", it turns out furthermore absurd and antihistorical block the way and to deny rights to persons for any motive.
Conscious of the enormous difficulties of the present, we raise furthermore the look to declare our aspiration to a Human Universal Nation constructed in the overcoming of the pain and the suffering, interwoven in the diversity of looks, religions and cultures. Opposite to the resignation of those who have lost the future, the humanists we offer this aspiration as point of meeting and recognition.
WHAT WE PROPOSE
1. We know that only the common project to create the Human Universal Nation
It can integrate the differences between the cultures and give them a new meaning. Any action that does not take this project as a frame will stay, at best,
reduced to the voluntarism.
We call, so, for political parties, social and cultural organizations of base it humanizes to sharing this aspiration and to transform it into project.
2. We know also that the proposals (free circulation of the persons, the right without restrictions to the political participation, etc.) that come from a such project will hit necessarily with the stablished order and will be considered as Utopian, unrealizable, or directly "dangerous". Nevertheless, it is precisely the application of these proposals the only thing that it can place to the system in situation of need of real change towards the redistribution of the resources
3. This Commission of Cultures and Immigration of The Regional European Humanist, using the methodology of the non-violence activates and coordinating his action with other commissions of the Regional will dedicate his effort to
- The denounce of any form of violence and discrimination exercised over persons in reason of their culture or origin.
- Support and recovery for the achievement of conditions for the active insertion of all the minorities and the full exercise of the social and political rights for the persons who reside in European soil.
- The exigency for all possible ways of politics of International Cooperation that they leave behind the tricky assistentialism and act as engines of solidarity, cohesion and joint development.
