ORGANIZATIVE OUTLINE OF THE H.E.R. AND THE WORK PLAN

In this intervention, which will be the last, it corresponds to me to inform about the working program in commissions and also about some guidelines that can help us in the work of the coming days.

In the name of the organisation team I thank to the friends that have been talking, to the ones that, until now, have been listening, as well as to the translators, from them I will ask a last effort.

Let’s enter the topic.

Various thematic commissions have been formed, as well as an organising commission. Each commission is co-ordinated by a responsible.

A - The thematic commissions:

The objective of the thematic commissions is in the first place to generate positioning in front of conflicts, that is: to formulate the denouncements and proposals in front of conflicts from the ideological humanist position.

Further, the thematic commissions are converted into ambits of meeting and interchange between parties, organisations and other human groups, and from there arise common actions and campaigns.

In third place, these commissions could bring together other organisations that adhere to the positioning of the commissions, acting in this sense as action fronts that grow their influence in their surroundings.

The thematic commissions with their respective expected sub-commissions until the moment are:

2. Cultures, Migrations and International Co-operation

3. Anti-Discrimination and Equality of Opportunities

4. Non-Violence and Peace

5. Social Rights

5.1. Health,

5.2. Education

5.3. Housing

5.4. Leisure and Sports

5.5. Culture and Art)

6. Economy and Worker’s Participation

7. Ecology and Environment

8. Information and Media of social communication

9. Student (this commission is still a project)

B - Organising commission

The objective of this commission with its sub-commissions is to guarantee the conditions of infrastructure, functioning and diffusion of the European Regional. The sub-commissions foreseen until now are:

1. Web

In this sub-commission the most important work would be to put in motion a web of the Regional. That would serve as an organ of diffusion, port of entrance, informational bulletin and as a point of meeting and communication between the members of each commission.

2. Mobilisation

This sub-commission is in charge of proposing and preparing common campaigns of the Regional.

3. Juridical and statutes

Ordering the statutes of entrance of new members, creation and functioning of the commissions.

Diffusion and audio-visual productions

C - Forms of work for the commissions

Starting from the long-term general objective, we propose to the commissions to adopt the following form of work during the following year:

Basing the humanist position in their respective areas

Collecting the information originating from all European countries

Denouncing the conflicts and proposing humanist solutions.

These works, properly synthesised, form part of the European Orange Book which will be presented in the Second Congress to be approved.

The works of each commission should be presented in two languages: Spanish and English.

Each commission needs at least 3 responsible: a co-ordinator, one responsible for translations (to English and Spanish) and one responsible who is in charge of maintaining contact with the Web commission, and in the best of cases also an web responsible who puts the productions of the commission in the same Web.

We propose that each commission elaborates within the general calendar their own calendar and forms of contact.

Specifically in this preparatory meeting we propose that each commission work on the first point, that is, the foundation of a humanist position. In the best of cases, the commissions could present a pre-document, which as more or less developed reflects the general lines of our posture in this field. As well, each commission agrees their ways of contact, responsible, ways of collecting information and ways of responding and proposing in front of actual or future conflicts.

Dear friends, we will continue now by forming the work commissions, but before starting I would like to especially thanks to our Czech friends. They have helped us to gather in this warm cold city, full of lightning’s, We have felt touched by this city that, from its corners, is talking to us about dreams and searches.

We are asking for inspiration, in order that our work and our search connects with the future, in order that our voice becomes the voice of millions of people that search to express themselves.
