Agenda of ratifications of the constitution for Europe

EUROPEAN UNION.

European parliament has approved new constitution with 500 votes to favour, 137 contrary and 40 abstained, and it has invited governments of member countries to ratify it as soon as possible. France and Netherlands have rejected by referendum. UK has stopped process of ratification by referendum, Poland has delayed sine die; Denmark, Portugal, Sweden, Finland, Ireland and Czech Republic had delayed ratification. Spain approved by referendum and by Parliament. Luxembourg approved by referendum. Parliaments of Lithuania, Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Greece, Austria, Slovakian Republic, Germany, Latvia and Cyprus have already approved text. Other five countries want to use a popular referendum (only for Denmark and Ireland referendum is mandatory).
