EUROPE - HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION

1 - Frame

We are going to develop the idea of the Europe we want in the future without being pressured by the conditions imposed by the current situation. From that vision of the humanist Europe we want, we are going to examine the current situation, to formulate critics and development proposals. We want a Europe where are implemented in their full sense the Human Rights and Real Democracy.

3 - Objectives

  • Produce ideologic materials on the subjects treated by the commission. Fix positions in those themes of the RHE with critics, denunciations and proposals. From every materials, we'll try to produce a good syntesis easily understandable and usable in the social basis and another one in a "divulgative" form to be sent to press or for neighbourhoods papers.

  • Obtain information on the themes of the commission by connecting with other organizations, collectives or persons having affinities with the theme.

  • Inform the media close to the theme of the productions of the commission.

  • Elaborate a list of doctrinal materials and supports in relation with the theme of the commission (in English and Spanish)

  • Design and maintain up-to-date the commission's page in the general web of the RHE.

  • We aspire to improve and syntonize in the commission so as to be able to fix present state positions refering to the theme of the commission.

  • In order to be included in the European Orange Book, we'll develop those materials: Humanist chart of fundamental rights in Europe and Humanist chart for the organization of real democracy in Europe

4 - Methods of work

We are to support ourselves on the Internet with a mail-list to communicate and to realize virtual meetings.

We are going to study the materials, obtain information from the media, synthetize them, approve them by all the members of the commission and finally produce them. We'll then have to translate them in the two languages (English and Spanish).

Each production, depending on its type and the calendar, will be made following a work methodology dividing functions according to the needs of the case.

We'll work in compliance to a calendar where objectives, dates and defined functions will be fixed.
